Pumice

Pumice is a very lightweight volcanic material with a dry bulk density of 380–600 kg/m³. Our pumice originates from Central Anatolia and has a naturally white color. It is available in various grain sizes from 0–36 mm and is typically shipped in bulk by sea freight.

It is widely used in construction materials, lightweight concrete, insulation products, and horticulture.

  • Our pumice gravel from Central Anatolia (Cappadocia) is largely free of impurities and clay, making it equal in quality to the washed pumice of most competitors.
  • This results in significant cost advantages, as the costly and time-consuming washing process can be omitted. In addition, the moisture content of natural pumice is significantly lower than that of washed pumice, which is usually traded wet.
  • The dry bulk density ranges between 350–550 kg/m³, depending on the fraction.
  • The nearest port is İskenderun/Yumurtalık.
