Sourced from Turkish volcanic glass deposexceptional thermal and acoustic insulation with a bulk density of 30–150 kg/m³. Chemica-combustible, it is widely used inlightweight concrete blocks, insulation panels and mortars; soilless growing media and substrate blends; food and chemical industry filtration; and cryogenic insulation.
